Christie® Pandoras Box has been selected as a Best of Show winner for InfoComm 2017 by Sound & Video Contractor! The winners have been chosen by the judges of NewBay Media.

The Best of Show Awards are judged by a panel of engineers and industry experts from submitted nominations. Criteria include ease of installation and use/maintenance, performance, relevance, value/ROI, network friendliness, versatility, and reliability.

BEST DEBUTING PRODUCT AWARD 

The new coolux Widget Designer 4.0 received the Best Debuting Product Award in the Projection category at the 2012 LDI show in Las Vegas.

One of the most impressive new features of this interactive application builder software is undoubtedly the built-in web server. 

Using the Widget Designer it is now possible to create and control all show control interfaces from any remote HTML browsing device. 

An unlimited number of devices can be controlled and integrated this way.

RENTAL & STAGING Systems AWARD 

The 2012 infocomm exhibition was a great success for coolux in multiple ways.

In addition to presenting their latest Pandoras Box Version 5.1 features, the Pandoras Box Version 5 QUAD server was also awarded the Rental&Staging Systems infoComm New Product Award in the category „Best Show Control Product“.

Visitors to the coolux booth also had the opportunity to see coolux’s new Media Encryption technology in action and were able to catch a glimpse of some future Pandoras Box product family features.

2008 EMMY® Engineering Awards

Pandoras Box was honoured to receive the Emmy Engineering Plaque Award in 2008.

The ceremony was held on Saturday, August 23 at the Renaissance Hotel in Los Angeles.

Thanks to the designer Kieran Healey, Pandoras Box was introduced to the american TV market in 2004. coolux products have been in constant used on major award- and broadcast shows throughout the United States and arround the world ever since.

The Engineering Plaque is presented for those achievements that exhibit a high level of engineering and are important to the progress of the industry.

Pandoras Box is being recognized for its complete real-time compositing media server each with a 4K workspace in dual channels of 2K HD/SD outputs for on-air and pre- and post-production.

LDI 2007 Award

Pandoras Box Version 3.5 received the "LDI Best Debuting Projection Product of the Year" Award on Saturday, Nov.17th 2007.

We’re all very happy to be rewarded for our efforts in improving our products in order to fulfill the needs and the requirements of our customers.

Version 3.5 has been out on shows since June 2006 and the new features are a XML based type library for DMX, serial and IP output devices as well as offline preview for remote clients with MediaManager.

Further more, multi-selection of devices and layers has been implemented as well grouping and presets.

A live text resource is included in the project and an external remote RS 232/422 or IP sequence control is available as well. Clips are in sync and lock to timeline and in addition, all Pandoras Box Playback products feature additional layers.

Sinus Award 2006

For the third time, the 'Sinus – Systems Integration Award', will be awarded to honour achievements in the fields of media technology and system integration.

The Special Prize of the Jury goes to Jan Hüwel, lighting designer and General Manager of coolux GmbH.

Pandora's Box is a software solution that enables a connection to be made between light projection and digital image compositing through the optimum combination of ultra-modern computer  technology and classic lighting control. Thus, different videos can be simultaneously arranged, modified and interwoven – and, thanks to a well thought-out keystone correction, even corrected optically in the twinkling of an eye.
